Are you aware of Jesse the body ventura? The
real name of Jesse Ventura was James George Janos and was born in July 15 1951.
He was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota and his father was George William Janos
and Bernice Martha. They were all world war veteran and the member of their family
served in Vietnam wars.
Ventura considered himself as Slovak since his
parents were from Slovakia. His mother was of German descent and hence he was
raised as Lutheran. When he grew up he attended Copper Elementary school and
graduated from Roosevelt High school in 1969.
Ventura started his career in the United States Navy
during the Vietnam War era and he frequently referred to his military career in
various public statements and debates. Ventura attended north Hennepin community college
in Minneapolis in 1970 and during this time he started weight lifting and
wresting.
In the initial years he was a bodyguard of rolling
stones and then he entered professional wrestling and changed his name to JESSE
Ventura. With the passage of time he created the stage name Jesse the body Ventura
to go with his persona.
As a wrestler Ventura performed very well and had a
flamboyant persona since he was a charismatic and popular performer during 1970
and 1980. He joined world championship wrestling
and truly it was an extension of his wrestling persona which was really
something new and different at that time.
