Eric Holder is resigning as attorney general of United States.
Do you know that attorney general of United States Eric Holder resigns? He was the first African
American who had held the nation’s top law enforcement position. He had held
the post for nearly six years and very soon his successor will be confirmed.
He has thanked President Barrack Obama for the
greatest honor of his professional life. In reality he loved the department ever
since he was a young boy and he has really done honor to the faith Mr.
President had placed in him.
He has also done honor to the legacy of all those
who have served before him.
Eric holderresigns at the age of 63, and he would be leaving the justice department in
the months ahead. However he will never leave the work and will continued to
serve and try to find ways to make US even more true to its founding ideals.
Holder will become the third longest serving
attorney general in the history of United States. In his long career he has worked
with six presidents of different parties and is credited for restoring the
justice department’s civil rights division.
