An earth quake hits Los Angeles

A preliminary magnitude of 3.5 earth quake has struck near Baldwin hills earthquake Los Angeles on Sunday night yesterday and this information is based according to the US GEOLOGICAL SURVEY. The earth quake hit at 9.17 pm on Sunday about 1 mile southeast of Baldwin hills and it had a depth of about 6 miles.

It is very surprising about the earthquakeLos Angeles is that residents in Beverly Hills’, Westwood, and Hollywood along with south Los Angeles and mid city Los Angeles also reported the feeling of shaking from the earth quake.

Now Los Angeles fire fighters assessed earthquake Los Angeles more than 470 square miles of Los Angeles and found no major damages and injuries. Let me remind you that this was the second earth quake that struck near Baldwin hills on Sunday.

The first magnitude of earthquake Los Angeles 2.5 temblor hit at about 4.35 pm at 1 mile south- south east of Baldwin hills. According to Dr Lucy Jones a seismologist with the US Geological survey the earlier tremor was considered as a foreshock as both struck in the same location within a few hours.
