At the end of the day it could be a combination of the heat, the veggies and proteins and the anti-inflammatory properties. Now do you think that getting caught in the rain will cause a cold? No it really doesn’t nor does being struck in wet clothes.

In reality cold and flu are viral and if the virus is in your system that how you get it. Just being cold and wet does not itself breed the virus. Now the best preventive for cold and flu is the well balanced and nutritious diet incorporating 5 vegetables and two fruits, plus regular exercise. Plus cold and fever if applicable now tobacco and hard drinks, since flu vaccines do not give you the flu as they do not contain any live virus.
