I can remember when I first committed to paleo. My energy was bursting. Fat was flying off. My health was returning with a vengeance. For breakfast? Paleo breakfast Sizzling strips of bacon and eggs- sunny side up.


Who knew bacon and eggs would be the catalyst of my paleo transformation? Every day, I would wake up, and look forward to the sound, the smell, the taste. Until one day… I didn’t. I had to admit to myself, I was sick of them.

Not just bored or fed up of the taste, but truly SICK of them. Now I was in a quandary. What to eat. What to do? Going back to previously unhealthy option was out of the question. It would be months since I had an English muffin, a donuts or bowl of cereal.

And skipping breakfast altogether was simply not an option. Scouring the internet for a tasty and satisfying paleo breakfast ideas proved frustrating and time consuming. And then suddenly I discovered these recipes from paleohacks.

Yes, paleohacks paleo breakfast recipes, Hmm, delicious, recipe after recipe, everything I tried, tasted so good. Now I finally had what I carved, variety. The best part? These paleo friendly breakfast meals can all be made within 10 short minutes. Just as fast as whipping bacon and eggs.

In the process, my healthy exploded. Whoever said it right? Breakfast IS the most important meal in a paleo day. And double that, especially when you are following these kick- butt recipes. We will surely talk soon.

You are probably asking yourself if I still have bacon and eggs for breakfast. Honest answer? Yeah, once in a while, I have come to love them again. Especially if someone makes them for me. It is not very difficult to make most restaurant meals paleo friendly.
·       Order a meat of fish based main dish.
·       Get extra vegetables instead of bread or rice.
·       Ask them to cook your food in coconut oil, olive oil or lard.

There really is no need to eat more than 3 meals per day, but if you get hungry then there are some paleo snacks that are simple and easily portable.
·       Baby carrots
·       Hard boiled eggs
·       A piece of fruit
·       A handful of nuts
·       Leftovers from the night before
·       Apple slices with some almond butter
·       A bowl of berries with some coconut cream.
·       Homemade beef jerky

There is an incredible variety of foods you can eat on the paleo diet. This simple shopping list should give you an idea of how to get started.
·       Meat, beef, lamb, pork
·       Poultry, chicken, turkey
·       Fish, salmon, trout, mackerel
·       Eggs
·       Fresh vegetables like green, lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, carrots, onions.
·       Frozen vegetables like broccoli, spinach, various mixesetc.
·       Fruits like apples, bananas, pears, and oranges, avocado.
·       Berries, strawberries, blueberries.
·       Nuts like almonds, walnuts, macadamia nuts, hazelnuts.
·       Almond butter
·       Coconut oil
·       Olive oil
·       Olives
·       Sweet potatoes
·       Condiments like sea salt, pepper, turmeric, garlic parsley etc.

It is a good idea to clear all unhealthy temptations from your home, including sodas, pastries, cookies, crackers, bread, ice cream and cereals. I have put together a list of paleo recipes that are simple and delicious and that taste incredible.

Trust me; there is an entire world of information out there on paleo eating. Just Google something like paleo recipes or primal recipes and you will surely find a ton of stuff. Do you need to lose weight? So start losing weight with weekly meals plans base.

There is no right diet for everyone. What works for one person may one work for the next? For this reason, the argument about which diet is best is pretty much pointless. The only right answer is that it depends on the individual.

There are all sorts of thing that need to be taken into account. This includes age, activity levels, food culture, metabolic health, and last but not the least, personal preference. That being said, healthy diets or ways of eating that are seemingly polar opposites of each other do have more things in common that some might think.

For example, the paleo diet seems to be pretty much the opposite of a vegan diet or a whole foods, plant based diet as some like to call it. There are glaring success stories for both diets and even some clinical trials showing impressive health benefits.

If we take a look at what these diets have in common, instead of what they don’t, then we can start to form some conclusions about what truly constitutes a healthy diet. Optimal health is about more than just eating healthy.

There are several other lifestyle factors that are just as important. One of the reasons for the success of diets is that people tend to make other lifestyle improvements at the same time. Exercise is a major factor here; it is an ESSENTIAL part of being healthy.

It leads to all sorts of benefits for both physical and mental health, can dramatically lower the risk of chronic disease and help you live longer. Sleep is another huge factor; poor sleep is one of the strongest risk factors for obesity and many chronic diseases.

Although often under emphasized, getting quality sleep may just be the most important thing you can do for you health. Diet is just one part of the puzzle, it is incomplete without rest. The truth is, we don’t know even know exactly what our Paleolithic ancestors ate and there is also no one type of paleo diet.

What people ate varied greatly between regions, depending on the food that was available at the time. Some ate high curb diet high in plants, others a low curb diet high in animal foods. The one thing we do know for certain that Paleolithic humans didn’t eat anything made in a factory.

This includes refined sugar, refined grains, Tran’s fat, veggies oils and any sort of processed food that is impossible to make naturally. Humans evolved eating real food, plain and simple. That s what we should be focusing on.

It is a good idea to consider the foods humans evolved eating, because it is likely these foods will be both safe and healthy for our bodies. But there are plenty of modern foods that are healthy too. Just because it’s new, doesn’t mean it’s bad.

If you enjoy a paleo breakfast food, get good results eating it and science has shown it to be healthy, then avoiding it just because it isn’t paleo according to some narrow definition of what that means, is ridiculous and if you believe in it then please visit here.
