sugar, or glucose in your blood stream and then you are storing it as fat.

foods, or if you drink lots of sugary drinks, your blood glucose levels are too
high for you to burn any body fat for food.
Again, having even a low level of insulin resistance, which most of us
have can make it virtually impossible to lose fat.

Cortisol- I call this your fat defense
hormone. Excess cortisol is produced in response to stress, it amps you to be
ready to fight or flee in case of danger. Unfortunately, in today’s stress-
filled world, excess cortisol harms your body’s ability to burn fat and stores
it.
Having too much cortisol can actually
cause your body to burn muscle for energy and push excess fat into the
abdominal area where it is stored.

Adiponectin- I call this your fat burning
hormone. It is responsible for telling your body to use fat for fuel instead of

people suffer from can cause adiponectin levels to sink which in turn causes
