before, these extra calories are also quickly stored as fat. Remember, that
muscle is the primary fat burning engine of the body and when this is lesser in
mass more fat will be stored in future also.
Our body has evolved over millions of
years under harsh environments so it has learnt to put a series of barriers to
prevent rapid weight loss in a short time. This always ensures we will survive
during famine or natural disasters. But, unfortunately, this useful feature of
our genes and physique has become a dilemma or even a burden for most of us who
enjoy material comforts of a fast and easy modern life.
