Its summer time and the heat is on. One favorite choice of most people for beating the heat is to get a detox red smoothie’s recipe free smoothie. But for people trying to lose weight and not miss out, are there any healthy options? Yes. You can make your own smoothies.


From a health point of view, blended smoothies are great for a concentrated meal that’s ready in a minute. You can combine a variety of fruit with some water, possibly add some dates or genuine maple syrup and make a delicious smoothie that can be enjoyed anytime as a healthy meal while one your weight loss program.


Actually friends, this may be a better choice than juicing as you will also get the fiber, which is an essential nutrient present in our fruits and vegetables for several reasons and in regards to losing weight, the fiber will serve as intestinal brooms to push all unwanted debris out. Hey, we are seeing weight loss right?

Now, the recipes listed below are my personal favorites for smoothies. I think they are creative ways to enjoy the proper diet and not entirely miss out on pleasuring ourselves occasionally. You can always experiment to find tasty recipes as well, but here are some to get you started.

Chocolate milk-
·       10-15 medium dates
·       3 ripe bananas
·       1 young coconut, I don’t usually use the water inside of the nut although I heard it has some benefits, I have tested it on me to a not so good result but again we are all different.
·       16 oz cold water
Blend everything starting with the fruits then the coconut.
Papaya passion-
·       1 medium papaya
·       1 red delicious apple
·       5 pitted dates
Blend everything and prepare for something out of this world.
Strawberry delight-
·       4-8 strawberry delight
·       1-2 bananas
·       8-10 dates
·       2 cups of durian
·       8 dates
·       2 bananas
·       1 tsp of carob powder
Mango magic-
·       1-2 ripe peeled mangoes
·       8 pitted dates
·       Juices of one orange
Durian deck-
·       24 oz of durian
·       ½ orange

Blend both, well there you have it. Thought you would have to give up smoothies eh? Hope I will be able to save you some money in buying less healthy and as you will discover not as tasty smoothies with these. Here is to health and happiness.

In this day and age where eating healthy has become so important, so many people do not like to eat fruit and vegetables. Even though they know it is good for them, they still prefer not to eat it. It can be very difficult getting used to a healthy lifestyle if all you are used to, is take away fast food.

The first change has to get home and cook. Immediately you lose about half an hour of your alone time. What is important is to think of this as an opportunity to spend this time with your children and husband or wife.

Make it fun and interesting. Don’t lose your smile when you think you will have to eat more fruits during the day and evening. This is very easy solution that will be fun for the whole family. I think smoothie’s are one of the greatest inventions of our time.

I know you get a lot of fruit juices and they are truly great, but some of the manufacturers do add a lot of sugar. Try to keep the sugar intake low by making your own. All you need is a blender, or smoothie maker and fruit.

It is that simple. Try to play with the flavors. You can add whatever you like. If you do not try it, how will you know if you like it or not? You can play around with some flavors and I can tell you, it will taste great. You can get recipe books for how to make smoothies, but as I said, make it up as you go along.

First I have personally tried mixing banana, strawberries, kiwi fruit, grapes and plain yoghurt. It tasted lovely. This is not a sweet combination, so if you have a sweet tooth, maybe you should try our second recipe.

The next one I tried, I used a mango, banana, yellow melon and yogurt. This was a sweeter option, but the banana was a little strong. Maybe you should try to use only halve a banana or replace it with some other fruit. We thought that next time we will try to replace it with a strawberry or two.

I don’t know how it detox red smoothie’s recipe free will taste, but I will definitely try. Making smoothies is a great pastime, learning new thing and just have great fun.
